La Asociación Aragonesa de Escritores

Ente asociado con la Universidad de Zaragoza mediante convenio de colaboración firmado con fecha de 9 de febrero de 2004, fue fundada en el mes de Junio de 2003, como fruto de la ilusión de un elevado número de escritores vinculados a esta tierra y respondiendo a la necesidad de dar fuerza, información y difusión a sus obras.

Desde el comienzo ha respondido a su objetivo de contribuir decisivamente a la difusión de la literatura y de la cultura en general en la Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón, así como favorecer encuentros de escritores nacionales e internacionales con los lectores aragoneses y la promoción de las letras aragonesas fuera de Aragón.
